Lake Lugano, otherwise known as Ceresio[1], is a pre-alpine lake that branches out along the Swiss-Italian border.  It has a surface area of 48.7 km², of which roughly 18 km² lies on Italian soil. Lake Lugano is of glacial origin and is 288 m at its deepest point. Here I fish for black bass (especially using swimbait, crankbait and spinnerbait), pike (trolling, jerkbait, big swimbait) and zander (mort maniè, jigging). Target fish: pike, zander, black bass, perch and trout.
